Finally tried this place. I was excited to try their crepes having read that theirs was 'the best'. But first, l'll start with their sandwiches.
It lacks a little bit of presentation but looks can be deceiving. I didn't think that it would taste good by the looks of it. Their patty is very different from those of Burger Bar or Brother's Burger. Obviously it's not 100% beef but I liked it better. It tasted like your grandma made it especially for you. It was juicy and yummy. One of the best if not the best :) The side salad complemented it too. I have no complaints but Kenneth had difficulty eating it with his bare hands. I could easily eat it with a knife and fork but he wanted to eat it that way. His words were, "Para feel ko yung pagkain ng burger." And that's why he gave it a 4.5 rating. But it's my review so it's 5 stars for me.
It was good. I can't think of anything else to say. I'm still hung up on the burger.
Obviously I was disappointed. The mangoes were not that sweet. The crepe was almost tasteless. I'm comparing it with Crepes & Cream which is my #1 go-to crepe. If not for the ice cream on top, I'd give it one star.
Maybe I didn't like their crepes but I'll definitely go back for their sandwiches. :D |
